Solution: This patch significantly decreases memory usage during the Quartus II compilation stage. The benefit is most substantial on compiles that used more than the recommended amount of system memory, with a reduction in peak memory usage of up to 60%. The recommended amount of system memory is unchanged. Caution - You must either have previously installed the Altera SDK for OpenCL Patch 13.1 software or must install the Altera SDK for OpenCL Patch 13.1 software before installing this patch.
