Options for resolving error Code 56 in Device Manager
After updating the wireless drivers the system stopped connecting via wireless.
Device Manager shows Code 56 for the Wireless adapter on Intel® NUC Kit NUC7i5DNHE.
Try the following to resolve this error message/issue (check after each step if the issue is resolved):
- Perform a Network Reset
- Press Windows key + x
- Click Network Connections
- Click Advanced network settings (in Windows* 11)
- Click Status (in Windows* 10)
- Click Network reset
- Uninstall the wireless and Bluetooth adapter from Device Manager, and then do a clean installation of both drivers (Bluetooth first).
