Why does Intel® Quartus® Programmer fail to configure Intel® Stratix® 10 devices when you are using 3V I/O pins?

  • Intel® Stand-Alone Programmer 10.23 (For Legacy Max+Plus® II Software)

    Description

    In Intel® Stratix®  10 devices, when you are using the 3V I/O pins, you may see Intel® Quartus® Programmer fail to configure your Intel® Stratix®  10 device when transceiver tile (VCCH_GXB, VCCR_GXB and VCCT_GXB) is powered off 

    Resolution

    To avoid Intel® Quartus® Programmer error when you using 3V I/O pin in your design, make sure that transceiver tile (VCCH_GXB, VCCR_GXB and VCCT_GXB)  is powered on.
