Description

Issue 390140: EP3C5, EP3C10, EP3C16, EP3C55, EP3C80, EP3C120 Device Pin-Out Table version 1.3 and EP3C25, EP3C40 Device Pin-Out Table version 1.4

In the Pin Information for the Cyclone® III devices. MSEL[3:0] state:

"Configuration input pins that set the Cyclone III device configuration scheme. These pins must be hardwired to VCCA or GND. Some of the smaller devices or package options do not support the AP flash programming and do not have the MSEL[3] pin."

But this statement will be expanded to also include the limitation for Active Serial:

"Configuration input pins that set the Cyclone III device configuration scheme. These pins must be hardwired to VCCA or GND. Smaller Cyclone III devices or package options (E144, M164, Q240, F256, and U256 packages) do not have the MSEL[3] pin. The AS Fast POR configuration scheme at 3.0-V or 2.5-V configuration voltage standard and the AP configuration scheme are not supported in Cyclone III devices without the MSEL[3] pin."

Issue 10002282: EP3C16 Device Pin-Out Table version 1.3

Pin DIFFIO_B6p is listed as a differential pair positive pin. However there is no negative pin DIFFIO_B6n for the differential pair. The device pin-out file should not mark the DIFFIO_B6p as having an optional differential pin function.

Issue 10003625: EP3C10 Device Pin-Out Table version 1.3

There is a pin labeled as DIFFIO_T6n but there is no DIFFIO_T6p. This device density does not have DIFFIO_T6 LVDS pair so the DIFFIO_T6n label will be removed in a future revision of the pin tables.

Issue 10005628: EP3C5 Device Pin-Out Table version 1.3

There is a pin labeled as DIFFIO_T6n but there is no DIFFIO_T6p. This device density does not have DIFFIO_T6 LVDS pair so the DIFFIO_T6n label will be removed in a future revision of the pin tables.
