Can I recover from an Intel® Stratix® 10 CvP failure after an unsuccessful initial configuration?

    No, suppose an Intel® Stratix® 10 device is initially configured with a corrupted core image over Configuration via Protocol (CvP). In that case, a subsequent configuration attempt with a good core image will be seen to fail.

    Resolution

    To recover from the configuration failure, power cycle the Intel® Stratix® 10 device and then configure it with a good core image.

    This problem is planned to be fixed in a future release of the Intel Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
