Follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the product specification page.
  2. Identify your Intel® ProcessorNote the number of the processor.
  3. Enter the Intel processor number in the search specification box, located upper-right.
  4. On the processor page, scroll down to Package Specifications.
  5. Look for Tjunction or Tcase value.
NoteThe maximum operating temperature limit varies per processor and usually is between 100°C-110°C.

Other components within the system can also hit their thermal limits independently of the processor. If this is an OEM system such as laptop or a desktop system, refer back to your OEM for product specifications. If this is a self-built system, refer to and consult the motherboard or component vendors for the product specifications.
