3.5.2.6.3. Configure the Number of Channels Supported on the Device

Use the following command to set the number of channels: 
$ ethtool -L <device> rx <chnls> tx <chnls>
For example, the following command sets 8 channels on ifc_mcdma0: 
ethtool -L ifc_mcdma0 rx 8 tx 8
